Our school

How we did it?

In our English class we did a really awesome project, our project was to describe our school and every thing that happens in it. This is how you do it.
First of all, our teacher Danis gave us a copy with the correct vocabulary of the school terms.
Second of all we had to choose a place in the school, and then we had to write our text.
Then we had to learn them by heart.
Then we had to take a picture in the places we were describing.
After we had to go in the television studio to film our self’s reading our texts.
To complete, we had to make the editing.
What I’ve learned:
I learned to work as a team, to talk in front of a camera, to have self confidence, I learned that trying to learn three texts wasn’t easy but I did it and I also learned how does a camera function.
What I would change:
I would try to learn my text better, in probably be less shy in front of a camera.
I had a blast doing this activity because my friends and I had a very good time. I’ve learned lots of things.

How to make a video of your school

During the last month, we been working on are English project. We had to describe a part of our school. I chose the television studio. This is how we did it.
This is how to make a video of your school
-First, you need to find your subject.
-Second, you need to make a text about your subject like for example: This is the television studio.
-Third, you need to know your text by heart.
-Fourth, you need to take a picture of your subject. Example: picture of the television studio.
-Fifth, you need a television studio or a video camera with a blue or green screen.
-Sixth, you need to practice in front of the camera.
-Seventh, you need to record it.
I learned that it’s not easy to make a video part by part with 18 other kids.
I learned that it’s hard to remember a text when we are stressed and in front of the camera.
I also leaned that it takes a lot of time to prepare for the project.
If I had to redo this project, I would learn my text by heart and not be nervous when it comes time to record. I liked this project because I love to talk in English in front of everybody and to work in the television studio.

How to make a video
In my English class I needed to present a place in our school. I was with Naomi and Guillaume for that project. They were 13 teams. Each team had to present 1 section of the school.
That how to make a video to present something:
First you need to find a subject.
Then you need to write it and correct your text.
After practice it. When you’re ready you can record it.
If it not good, try it another time.
When that good, watch it another time if there’s no problem with the recording.
I’ve learned how to talk in front a camera and not to be shy in front the camera.
What I would change if I can do another time the video: I would practice a little more, talk a little bit better and describe a little more the class.

How we do it
During our English class we had to do a project describing our school or a part of it.
These are the steps to fallow if you want to do the same or a similar project.
Steps:
1. You chose a subject.
2. You write a text about the subject you choose.
3. Then you learn you’re text by hearth. Meaning you practice saying it.
(Helps in front of a mirror)
4. You have to take a picture of what you want on your bleu or green screen.
5. When you’re all done taking pictures you put then in a PowerPoint presentation.
6. After that’s all done you find a camera and a place to film.
7. Then you can start filming.
What I’ve learned while doing this project?
1. I learned how the television studio works.
2. I also learned that it’s pretty hard to learn more then one text by hearth.
3. I learned that the whole class can work as a team without killing each and other.
What would I change if I had to do this project again?
1. I would probably use the time that I have to learn my texts.
2. I would probably try not the be shy during the filming.
3. I would try to look at the camera when I talk.
During this project, I’ve learn lots of things. I’ve learned what happens on the other side of the camera. That sometimes it’s very hard working with people whom doesn’t want to learn or work hard.

How to do a video
In my English class, we have to describe our school. All the students in the class have a subject to describe it. I have 2 subject to describe. The first one is with Jessy, we describe the 2 playground. The second subject is describing the television studio and I’m with Hugo.
Steps:
1. First thing to do is to find a place to describe it.
2. Second thing is write a description.
3. Third thing to do is to write it on a big sheet of paper.
4. Fourth thing to do is to practice our text.
5. Fifth thing to do is to place in front of the camera and talk about the subject.
I’ve learned that the whole class can work as a team and a good concentration. What I would change. I would describe the whole school instead of little parts.

How to do it
In my English class, we made a project about the classes, the projects and the teachers in our school C.A.H.M. Every student had to choose a subject in the school. I chose the Robotic Class. Here are the Materials and the steps that you need to take to do the project.
Materials:
1. A camera
2. A computer to put you’re images on a bleu screen
3. Have a Computer for the sound
4. A computer to record
5. Decorations
6. A microphone to hear what you’re saying
Steps:
1. You have to choose a subject in the school.
2. After you found you’re subject, then you have to write a text about you’re choice.
3. After you wrote it, you have to learn it by heart.
4. Then you have to take pictures of you’re subject to but as background when you are going to talk in front of the camera.
5. After you toke the pictures you put them in a Power point presentation.
6. After you practice you text you can put you’re pictures on the bleu screen for you’re background.
7. The open the camera and record you’re self.
8. After you’re scene is done, you can put it on I movie or Movie Maker and arrange as you like it.
Conclusion:
In this project, I’ve learned how to talk in front of a camera, how the television studio works, to work as a team.
If I would have the chance to redo the project, I would try to learn my fist text by heart, move more in my first video too, and describe more things in the school.
